Dear Councillor, 

I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Carlton Scroop and Normanton on Cliffe Parish Council will be held on Monday 26 July 2021 at 7.30pm at Carlton Scroop and Normanton on Cliffe Village Hall.  All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder. 

Public Forum:  The Parish Council meeting will be preceded at 7.20pm by a public forum for which Councillors are also asked to be present, at which members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council.  Members of the public are welcome to stay for the meeting but may not participate unless invited to do so by the Chairman.

7.1 To receive a report on the Parish Plan meeting held on 23 June 2021.

7.2 To consider the report on the resident’s survey results previously circulated by Councillor Calder.

8.2 To consider creation of a Parish Council Facebook page.

11.2 To consider correspondence regarding overgrown verges on the footpath between Silkstone Lane and Sudbrook Lane.

11.3 To receive an update on fingerpost signs in the village.

11.4 To consider correspondence from County Councillor Maughan regarding Highways Volunteering Days.

13. RECREATION GROUND

13.1 No report. 

14. COMMUNITY UPDATES

14.1 To consider a quote from EnvironmentSK for cutting grass in Normanton on Cliffe.

14.2 To consider the purchase of benches and picnic tables for Carlton Scroop and Normanton.

14.3 To consider the planting of trees to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

14.4 To consider whether an additional defibrillator should be acquired for the Village Hall.

14.5 To consider provision of an additional dog waste bin or refuse bin for the recreation ground.

15. POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

15.1 To approve the Clerk’s Performance Review Policy prepared by Councillor Calder.
